Our Rehabilitation Programs

Here at SCE Agistment we have two aspects of our rehabilitation program, Our client rehabilitations & our unique self funded rehabilitation program for horses needing a second chance.

Our client horse rehabilitation program

is the perfect choice for those looking for quality care and a chance for their horses to rest and recover. We provide a safe and nurturing environment for horses to rest and recover from injury or illness, as well as offering boarding and agistment services. With our professional care and rehabilitation, your horse will be back to its best in no time. Enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing your horse is in the best of hands.

Our unique self funded rehabilitation program

provides horses, ponies and donkeys that may need a new start, a second chance. With the focus on the physical and mental health of each equine is forefront of our program. Engaging with local industry professionals to ensure a holistic collaborative approach for each individual animal in our program to ensure that when they leave us they have received the best of care and the respect that they deserve. When they are ready to exit our program they will be advertised for rehoming. All of the proceeds from the sales on our online store as well as proceeds of the sales of the horses exiting our program, directly funds the program to ensure that we can continue helping and assisting those most in need to get a second chance.

Check out our stories and updates on the horses that we have been able to assist in our program.

This aged Mare and her 6 week old filly were part of a herd of stockhorses, picked up from a deceased estate in February this year (2023).

They are currently in our program, Track their progress here and on facebook.

the herd was split up into groups of colts, fillies and mares and many were facing uncertainty. This mare was close to foaling, so was taken to a property where she could foal down safely. She came to us on the 14th March.

Mum has a long way to go to recover physically and mentally, however bub is healthy and well and looks to have huge potential already! we are looking forward to having them recover in our program, follow her progress here, eventually they will be available for companion rehoming (mum) and for sale (bub) after weaning and handling.
